Artificial Skin

A team from four Fraunhofer institutes in Germany is developing the first fully automatic production system for two-layer skin models an almost perfect copy of human skin or artificial skin. According to the scientists, in a multi-stage process, first small pieces of skin are sterilized. Then they are cut into small pieces, modified with specific enzymes, and isolated into two cell fractions, which are then propagated separately on cell culture surfaces. The next step in the process combines the two cell types into a two-layer model, with collagen added to the cells that are to form the flexible lower layer, or dermis. This gives the tissue natural elasticity.
In a humid incubator kept at body temperature, it takes the cell fractions less than three weeks to grow together and form a finished skin model with a diameter of roughly one centimeter.
The technique has already proven its use in practice, but until now it has been too expensive and complicated for mass production, according to the scientists. The production is associated with a great deal of manual work, and this reduces the method’s efficiency. The team is now handling the development of the biological fundamentals and validation of the machine and its sub-modules, taking care of prototype development, automation and integration of the machine into a complete system. Their goal is a monthly production of 5,000 skin models with perfect quality.

US cell phone major Motorola today announced the launch of three mid-to-high segment mobile phones targeting youth with music-rich features and professionals with Wi-Fi-enabled handsets. Last year, Motorola had flooded the market with its popular Yuma series for the first time user and low-segment consumers. The entire new phone MOTOROKR EM35, MOTO VE66 and MOTOSURF A300 are being launched during the first quarter of this year, Motorola Mobile Devices Head of India Operations Faisal Sodium said here. The company has not announced the price range but the sources indicate that all the phones would be in the range of Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000 and would be available in the market in next few weeks.
India is adding more than eight million new mobile subscribers every month and is the second fastest growing market in the world. The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven individual Emirates, formerly known as the Trucial States, which came together after British withdrawal from East of Suez in December 1971 to form the Arabian Peninsula’s youngest country. UAE became fully independent on December 2, 1971.largest and most populous is the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which provides the federal capital, while the other members in order of size are: Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al-khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al-Qaiain and Ajmain. For around a century and a half, from 1820, the sheikdoms, or Emirates, had treaties with Britain, which controlled their foreign affairs and external defense, although they retained their own individual autonomy and sovereignty.
Since 1971, the country has been an active member of International organizations like the United Nations and its specialized agencies. The supreme Council of Rulers is the country’s top policy-making body. It is made up of the UAE President, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Vice President, and Prime Minister. The day to day affairs of state are handled by the Cabinet, headed by the Prime Minister. The resources of the country are Oil, fish, pearls. The UAE is a dream place to live in. Dubai is the best place for shopping. The travel and tourism is also good. The Al-burj is the only seven star hotel in the world located in UAE.

Hi friends today I am going to write SLIM. It’s a dream of every girl to stay slim. We struggle a lot to stay slim. Here are some tips to stay slim. Eat small meals at regular interval of 3 hrs. Use whole grains, multi grain flour, barley, oatmeal’s in your regular diet. Eat your dinner 3 hrs before bedtime. Buttermilk, fresh lime, green tea, herb teas, soups can be used as fillers between meals. Limit salt and sugar to 2 tsp per day. Keep away from hydrogenated fats, baked foods, refined flour, excess sugar, oil and salt. Choose low fat milk and milk products. Prepare cheese at home with low fat and milk. Include a handful of raw, unsalted nuts everyday to keep cholesterol in check. And limit whole eggs to 2-3 per week. Choose white meat and red meat to once/ twice a month. Include colorful fruits and vegetables like purple cabbage, capsicums, brinjal are loaded with anti oxidants which protect your heart. Don’t use more oils in diet. Use only 3 tsp of oils per day. And the main thing is to exercise regularly for 1 hr everyday. Meet a qualified fitness trainer before you embark your program. Avoid Active and passive cigarette smoking and excessive intake of alcohol. Stay slim, stay cool.
